New System - Telephone Triage. We are working on improving access to the surgery. ALL ON THE DAY APPOINTMENTS ARE BY THE TELEPHONE TRIAGE WITH THE DOCTOR ONLY. If you need to be seen please telephone on the day. The doctor will call you back to discuss your problem and will offer you an appointment if necessary. (This does not apply to appointments with nurses or health care assistants).
With your doctor’s agreement you can obtain repeat prescriptions of regular medicines. We need the repeat prescription requests in writing either in person or by fax or you may use the online facility (click on link below).
YOU CAN ALSO USE PATIENT ACCESS TO REQUEST YOUR PRESCRIPTION
YOU MUST ALLOW 48 HOURS FOR REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS TO BE PROCESSED.
The practice works in conjunction with the local pharmacies and is pleased to offer our patients the Pharmacy First Scheme. This allows patients to seek medical help & advice through the Pharmacist and obtain certain medications prescribed free of charge (for those exempt from prescription charges).
Please ask at reception for more details & a referral form for the scheme (if eligible).
